According to the draft of the law presented by the Ministry of Finance, the deadline for CIT-8 return filing and payment is going to be extended to 31st of May 2020. The new deadline for non-governmental organizations (NGO) is moved to 31st of July 2020.
Deadline extension applies to corporate income taxpayers whose tax year started after December 31st, 2018 and ended before April 1st, 2020.
Similar announcement had been posted earlier on the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Finance.
Taxpayers may consider postponement in corporate income tax payments until May 31st, 2020 (or in case of NGOs until July 31st, 2020), provided that the tax to be paid is based on CIT-8.
The Ministry of Finance also announced on Twitter that the deadlines for submitting financial statements also have been extended. These changes are going to be introduced by the Ministry of Finance ordinance however, no specific deadlines for financial reporting has been provided at the moment.
